  • Can one tell the quality of an argument from other's reactions?
• Bird:
  • If people slap their foreheads, it is a good one. The harder they hit, the better the argument.
• Port:
  • But, most people refuse to smack their foreheads.
• Bird:
  • True. For example, when I have no valid rebuttal to an argument yet still irrationally oppose it, I respond with a quick personal attack.
  • So, I guess a vehement personal attack is the second best reaction. The more sexual references, the better the argument.
