Followers of Ayn Rand would strenuously disagree. And though recent history provides some very strong evidence against the Randians' take on reality, unfortunately, it's pretty clear that at least some of her followers (and possibly all remaining ones) have such fact-resistant faith in her belief system as to constitute a religion.
