Imagine A World Where Apple Designed Satellites

Space exploration has fallen out of the cultural imagination. I unfairly blame this entirely on the aesthetics of modern space-going machines.

  - I unfairly blame this entirely on the aesthetics of modern space-going machines.
- Bird:
  - But, the spirit and opportunity rovers look fun and friendly.
- Port:
  - True, however, most satellites use the "box with wings" template.
  - Maybe it is time to give the "giant metal spider" design of sputnik another try. It is both cool and scary.
- Bird:
  - How about a metal horseshoe crab? Sputnik just reminds me that I'm bad at badminton.
