An enlightened theory of humor

Dialog:
- Port:
  - Some claim that analyzing a joke "kills the funny."
  - I'm starting to think this is a disguise for "I have no idea why I just laughed."
- Starboard:
  - It is for me.
  - I spontaneously do something fun and the only explanation I can come up with is
  - "he said 'fart'" or "well...it contradicted"
  - How do I continue this behavior and still feel like I understand myself?
  - Thats right, blame the problem on the problem.

I’m not even sure. In some of the comics I write I identify with both of the characters.
